Mark David Chapman was born near Fort Worth, Texas, on Tuesday, May 10th, 1955. He was the first child of David and Diane Chapman. His father was a strict staff-sergeant in the US Air Force, his mother, a nurse.

When Chapman was only a baby, his father left the USAF, and signed up to attend Purdue University, where he attained a degree in engineering.  When Mark was seven, his sister Susan was born.

His childhood, as Chapman related it to the many psychiatrists and writers that gathered to speak to him, was discontented. He was, like many, the kind of kid other boys picked on; he was considered to be a fat un-athletic 'Pussy'.

The only friends he had, were in his mixed up mind, and he made little models of his imaginary family. He told his biographer, Jack Jones, one of many to write about this now infamous man,

I used to fantasize that I was a king, and I had all these Little People around me and that they lived in the walls. And that I was their hero and was in the paper every day and I was on TV every day, their TV, and that I was important. They all kind of worshipped me, you know. It was like I could do no wrong.

On a good day, when he wanted to entertain his subjects, he would give concerts for them, playing records. His favorite, and theirs, was the Beatles. On a bad day he would blow them up and kill them en masse.

Inwardly, he told psychiatrists, he lived in dread of his father, who he said beat his mother. "I'd wake up hearing my mother screaming my name, and it just scared the fire out of me, and I'd run in there and make him go away. Sometimes I think I actually pushed him away." He fantasized about getting a gun and blowing his father away.

To outsiders Chapman was a normal type of guy, he a Boy Scout leader. He taught guitar at the YMCA, and a "Y" director reported that he thought Chapman was a happy, well-adjusted boy."

At 14, and the rise of puberty, he changed, using an array of drugs and letting his hair grow, showing the world he could rebel. His rebellious period then ended as suddenly as it had started. One day an evangelist came to town, and the impressionable 16 year old had a moving religious experience, he saw the light. His friends noted the sudden change and Chapman cleaned himself up, wearing a large wooden cross and chain, inside his large flowing coat.

Then John Lennon said, innocently and as a matter of fact, that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus Christ now. Little did Lennon know, that this turned his future killer violently against his one-time hero. Chapman made it clear, along with a few others in the world, that he wanted John Lennon dead.

Parenthetically, one of Chapman's' friends, Michael "Stinky" McFarland, recommended a book to him. It was the infamous J.D. Salinger's novel The Catcher in the Rye. A story of a mixed-up teenager, just like he was,  who became overly distraught at the unearthing of the fact that his world seemed to be made up of phonies.

Anyway, I keep picturing all these little kids playing some game in this big field of rye and all. Thousands of little kids, and nobody's around nobody big, I mean except me. And I'm standing on the edge of some crazy cliff. What I have to do, I have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff I mean, if they're running and they don't look where they're going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. That's all I'd do all day. I'd just be the catcher in the rye.

Mark Chapman had found a book about himself, he imagined that he was the character that was in a literary icon, he was Holden Caulfield.  John Lennon was John Lennon, and always will be.

Very early picture of Paul & John.

Paul of Beatle fame was born James Paul McCartney on June 8th 1942, in Liverpool, England, UK. Paul showed an early interest in music, which was no doubt encouraged by his father, James, who was a part-time jazz musician. At age 14 Paul's mother sadly died of cancer, but despite the trauma, the single-minded McCartney remained a dazzling student and was quite accomplished on the guitar in his early teens. He was always trying to bash out a little song or two. In 1956, just after his mother's death he apparently wrote his first song, I Lost My Little Girl.

Lennon was a most complex character and with everything going on he had his doubts about his lover, Yoko; he decided that she was more like a mother to him and that he was maybe not this political animal after all but just a Rock Star. Lennon realized early on that he wanted many things in life; he wanted an overload in everything he experienced, but he also soon realized that when he had got it, he wondered why he wanted it in the first place. In 1974 Lennon separated from Yoko Ono and moved out to Los Angeles. For the next two years Lennon became heavily involved in various drugs, and became a frequent celebrity party-goer at star's homes and wild night clubs. Even though he thought he and Yoko were finally through, encouraged by Yoko, he took a Japanese girlfriend, May Pang, as some kind of substitute. Through the party circuit Lennon developed a friendship with Elton John, with whom he co-wrote the song Whatever Gets You Through the Night, Lennon's 1974 No. 1 comeback. The single was from the album Walls and Bridges, which also reached the number one spot.

And on the newsstand he spotted the face of John Lennon! The December Playboy Magazine carried an interview with John and Yoko, their first in five years. Forgetting The Catcher in the Rye for the moment, he bought the magazine and read the interview.

By the end of 1975, Lennon realized that he was becoming burnt out as far as partying was concerned. Yet again he discovered that once he had something he was not too sure whether he really wanted it. Elton had helped John and Yoko resolve their marital differences, furthermore, in early October an appeals court overturned the deportation order which had been so poignant in Lennon's life. At the last public performance Lennon ever did, onstage with Elton John, at  Madison Square Garden, Yoko and Lennon met up again backstage and they fell in love all over again.

That following year Yoko Ono became pregnant yet again, and after several previous miscarriages, on October 9, 1976, which was also John's birthday, she gave birth to their son, Sean. John dropped out of the music scene to raise his child and tend house, whilst Yoko handled the family's complicated business and legal affairs.

In early 1980 Lennon re-entered the music business after years of self denial and public denial,  and exclaimed that he has not touched a guitar for years. He signed a new record deal with Geffen. [ Go to Goodtime on your old WIN95 disc. ]

John and Yoko recorded a new album that summer, Double Fantasy, which was released in November. The highly popular  recording along with its first single, Just Like, Starting Over, both charted well, and Lennon was on the start of a comeback.

The Dakota Building

The Dakota, built 880, is an apartment building located on the northwest corner of 72nd Street and Central Park West in New York City. It was designed by architect Henry Janeway Hardenbergh, who also designed the Plaza Hotel, for Edward Severin Clark, head of the Singer Sewing Machine Company.

Southeast view of the Dakota from Central Park WestThe building is said to have been named because at the time it was built, the Upper West Side of Manhattan was sparsely inhabited and considered as remote as the Dakota territory. High above the 72nd Street entrance, the figure of a Dakota Indian keeps watch.

It was taken by a freelance, though mostly amateur photographer Paul Goresh, who often staked out and stalked the Lennons.

This apparently is a picture of Paul Goresh and Lennon, who became friends through Goresh's persistence.

While leaving his New York apartment on December 8, 1980, Lennon was approached by a fat ugly, sleazy-looking fan who requested an autograph. Chapman had been waiting just inside the Dakota tunnel entrance, above. He was with a sole photographer, Paul Goresh, who took the picture below.

Chapman said that Lennon was kind and open to him, and eerily, even asked him twice, if an autograph was all he wanted. Chapman thought he was going to kill Lennon then, but he was so overwhelmed with actually seeing John and his kindness, he forget all about his mission.

In a moment John and his entourage was gone; off to make music.

When John returned home several hours later, this now infamous fan was again outside his apartment, and with total calculation shot Lennon several times in the back. This was the last moment on Earth that Lennon knew of, he just said, to Yoko, as he fell : " I've been shot! " He never revived, and died of shock and a irrevocable loss of blood.

His Death certificate read:

Multiple gunshots wounds of left shoulder and chest; Left lung and left subclavian artery; External and internal hemorrhage. Shock.  Homicide.

  December 8, 1980

One of the very last pictures taken of the great John Lennon. To John's left we can see Mark David Chapman, John is signing an autograph for his soon to become assassin. Like many millions of fans, Chapman had always wanted to emulate Lennon, to be him; Chapman wanted to be as famous as John, but he did not have the talent or charisma.

Chapman said, " I committed this act for attention."

His shortcut to instant fame was to strike out and murder one of the most important and notable icons of the twentieth century.

John Lennon, nevertheless, is now immortal.

In that immortal call, " Mr. Lennon? "   John turned slightly to see the fan he had seen earlier. Mark Chapman pulled out his gun, and about 12 feet away, took up a commando-like stance, without any real malice, just his own ticket to fame, Chapman fired five bullets, all that he had in the gun, four hit John.  The doorman, Jose Perdomo , bravely ran up to Chapman and screamed at him, asking him what he had done. Jose shook the gun from Chapman's hand and kicked it away about 20 - 30 feet.

John Winston Lennon, AKA, John Ono-Lennon, died seconds later after he was shot, and the fan, Mark David Chapman, waited by the people amassing around the body of Lennon, just waiting. He removed his jacket and placed it just inside the Dakota entrance. He waited by the people amassing around the body of Lennon, just waiting. When the police arrived he placed his hands on his head, to show he was no longer armed, and to remove any danger that he might be shot himself. He was quickly arrested.

He informed the arresting officers that he was alone, and he had acted totally alone in John's murder. When he sat in the back of the police car, a stunned Yoko, went up to the car, and gazed in.

Their eyes met for just a moment; a moment that is etched on both their memories; a moment that will be relived again and again, by only those two players in this sickening homicide.

Tuesday, October 5, 2004

Mark David Chapman, the infamous assassin who shot John Lennon, in 1980, has had his first meaningful parole hearing. He was turned down based on the premise that 100,000 people are outside waiting for the opportunity to shoot him.

" Join the queue ! " Cried the World.

Next parole is during October 2006.

MARK DAVID CHAPMAN:

"Then this morning I went to the bookstore and bought The Catcher in the Rye. I’m sure the large part of me is Holden Caulfield, who is the main person in the book. The small part of me must be the Devil.

I went to the building. It’s called the Dakota. I stayed there until he came out and asked him to sign my album. At that point my big part won and I wanted to go back to my hotel, but I couldn’t. I waited until he came back. He came in a car. Yoko walked past first and I said hello, I didn’t want to hurt her.

John Lennon

Then John came and looked at me and printed me. I took the gun from my coat pocket and fired at him. I can’t believe I could do that. I just stood there clutching the book. I didn’t want to run away. I don’t know what happened to the gun. I remember Jose kicking it away. Jose was crying and telling me to please leave. I felt so sorry for Jose. Then the police came and told me to put my hands on the wall and cuffed me."

Statement of Mark David Chapman to police at 1 a.m., Dec. 9, 1980, three hours after the murder of John Lennon.

On this day, the world stood still; this was the day when music truly died. Millions around the planet cried in pain, not just over the death of John Lennon but for themselves. Lennon had played a part in and was a part of the lives of a whole generation of young people. When John died a little bit of many millions of people, died as well. This great pop-icon had protested against violence for most of his life; he more than most, would have appreciated the pathetic  irony that he himself would die from a bullet.

On December 14, 1980, at 2 p.m., Lennon fans around the world participated in a widely publicized 10-minute silent vigil.

Mark Chapman went to trial and bizarre details came out about the disturbed loner, who apparently was obsessed not only with Lennon, but also with the popular novel Catcher in the Rye. He was convicted and sentenced to an indefinite term in a mental institution. Over twenty years on, he has already had one parole hearing refused. It will be many years before he is released, not because this is justice, but because there will be several thousands of people around the planet, waiting for him. Waiting, to help Mark David Chapman join John Lennon in the hereafter.

Subject: THE BEATLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, about mark David Chapman, about him being released, although I do disagree with cold blood murder, which Chapman did to Lennon, I believe in the death penalty.  i loved john Lennon, I loved the Beatles, I love them a lot, I loved there music. They were such good people, although i am an atheist, and don't believe in heaven, i do believe in peace. tell you the truth i believe Chapman deserves to die, and I wouldn't mind shooting him, like he did to Lennon. he killed someone so he deserves death. Now of course there are conspiracy's that he was brainwashed or hypnotized, so id have to go into more research into that, although i don't believe in hypnotizing. here my opinion thanks, Jared

Hi

I could never kill anyone, even that barstard Mark Chapman. God gave us life, and only he can take it from us. I despise that Mark Chapman, and wish he had not been born to kill such a great talent as John Lennon, but 2 wrongs do not make a right so I would have to say NO on that one.

Yes, I most definitely would kill Mark Chapman if I had the chance. I would surely avenge John. It's been 25 years since he was shot, and it still holds an affect over the music world.

Hello, I am Dr. Jim Downie of Scotland and I would like to say that not only would I kill the goddamned nitwick of Chapman, but I would torture him to death. He is a fat bastard and the second he comes out I will be standing outside the doors with a bazooka to put up his behind. By shooting him this way I will make sure that all of his body is blown off, all the way up to his head. I will also feed his remains to those who say would not kill him. Long Live Lennon, it takes more than a fast idiot to kill music, and John was just that, MUSIC! so yes, I would kill MDC, not even worth mentioning his full name.

Subject: WILL YOU KILL LENNON´S KILLER?

It's a fight of mind and heart inside me. My mind says that If I kill him, I will be like him. He always will be known as John's killer, nobody can change that and that's what he wanted to, so I'd prefer to turn every day of his life into a nightmare, make him suffer a lot and delete his name in millions of people's minds and books, nobody should say or write his name again and forget him forever. But if I ever have the chance to kill this subject, my heart will arise saying "KILL HIM, KILL HIM, KILL HIM" and I probably will. Frank,    Spain

Hello.

I'm Adrien PHILIPPOT , 18years old and I live in France (sorry I'm not an English expert)

I want to answer about this site

http://www.thesahara.net/mark_david_chapman.htm

and this question: Would you kill Mark Chapman?

I'm sure all people want to say yes! kill him! it's an evil! better again!! hurt him! make him cry!! torture him!

But think a little!... John LENNON is the peace picture. All his life he make the war at the war (what's a paradox) do you think John want CHAPMAN was killed, burnt or all violence what exist?

Sure no! If we kill CHAPMAN! CHAPMAN win! and John loose!

Because Chapman is a violence partisan... John is the pacificator... please don't let Chapman win. John Lennon is the defender of the peace.

Follow him

The Beatles are the most famous group of musicians in the history of music. Combined, the FabFour have sold since 1961, over 1,200,000,000, that's twelve hundred million, records, albums, tapes, CD's and videos. the very biggest pop-stars of today, sell only around 100 million, in their pop-careers, if they are lucky.

In 1963, a great new word was coined to describe how big they were:

The Beatles had the top 5 places in the USA pop charts in 1964, after their arrival there in February. When they appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show in New York, 73 million people tuned in.  In the UK, Sgt Pepper is the biggest selling album of all time. Sir Paul McCartney is the first pop-star to be worth one billion dollars.

Imagine

John Lennon

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

" I believe that this Imagine Mosaic was a donation from the Italian government at the time of the landscaping of Strawberry Fields.  This is an area of Central Park across from the Dakota Apartments where John Lennon lived. John enjoyed strolling here all the time. After his tragic death, the Lennon estate funded the much needed landscaping of this area and the Parks Department named it "Strawberry Fields." The photograph was taken on the day that Strawberry Fields was first opened to the public in October 1985. "    Joe Bly.

Humans become infected almost incidentally when brought into contact with diseased animals, which can include their flesh, bones, hides, hair and excrement, or anywhere the germ may be lurking.
The Taliban - Persian Tālebān - Students. Also spelled Taleban. An ultra conservative political and religious faction that emerged in Afghanistan in the mid 1990s following the withdrawal of Soviet troops, the collapse of Afghanistan's communist regime, and the subsequent breakdown in civil order. The faction took its name from its membership, which consisted largely of students trained in Madrasah's Islamic religious schools, that were established for Afghan refugees in the1980s in northern Pakistan World Trade Center - A complex of several buildings around a central plaza in New York City that in 2001 was the site of the deadliest terrorist attack in American history. The complex—located at the southwestern tip of Manhattan, near the shore of the Hudson River and a few blocks northwest of Wall Street—was built by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey as a central facility for businesses and government agencies involved in international trade. Until the 2001 attack, it was notable for its huge twin towers, each of which had 110 stories. The roof of One World Trade Center reached to 1,368 feet (417 meters), and Two World Trade Center was 1,362 feet (415 meters) tall. Designed by Minoru Yamasaki and officially opened in 1972, the towers were the world's tallest buildings until surpassed in 1973 by the Sears Tower in Chicago. (See Researcher's Note: Heights of Buildings.) Each of the twin towers had 97 passenger elevators, 21,800 windows, and roughly an acre (0.4 hectare) of rentable space per floor. An observation deck was situated on the 107th floor of the south tower (Two World Trade Center), and a television-broadcasting mast 360 feet (110 meters) high was attached to the north tower (One World Trade Center). THE TAKERS TEST - Every minute of every day millions of people make a hot drink for themselves. Whether it is Tea, Coffee or Hot Chocolate, invariably the process needs WATER and some ENERGY source. Put up your hand, if you did not know this, and also that the planet's WATER and ENERGY sources are dwindling NEW ICE-AGE BY 2080 - READ IT HERE ! !
TERMITES - any of the cellulose-eating social insects that constitute the order Isoptera. Cellulose in this case refers to wood. Termites have for millions of years been eating the majority of fallen trees, dead trees and rotting trees, from all around the world. It is said that the world would be totally covered in a ten meter pile of rotting timber, if it was not for the Termite. BEDBUG - Any member of the approximately 75 species of nocturnal insects of the family Cimicidae - order Heteroptera, that feed by sucking the blood of humans and other warm-blooded animals. The reddish brown, or mahogany adult is broad and flat. It is only 4 to 5 mm, less than 0.2 inch long. The greatly withered, scaly vestigial wings are inconspicuous and non-functioning. You know they are about, when you see you have mysterious bite marks - small red dots. You can also see small telltale black marks, on sheets and mattresses. Bedbugs also have a distinctive oily odor, that results from a secretion of scent from their stink glands. MITES - Any of about 20,000 species of tiny arthropod invertebrates belonging to the subclass Acari - sometimes Acarina, or Acarida, of the class Arachnida. Mites live in varied habitats: in brackish water, in fresh water, in hot springs, in soil, on plants, and as parasites on and in animals. Parasitic forms may live in the nasal passages, lungs, stomach, or deeper body tissues of animals. Some mites are carriers of human and animal diseases. Plant-feeding mites cause damage by feeding on leaf tissues or by transmitting viral diseases. Mites are small, often microscopic in size—the smallest being about 0.1 mm (0.004 inch) in length and the largest being about 6 mm (0.25 inch)—and they usually have four pairs of legs. In general, they breathe by means of tracheae, or air tubes; in many species, however, respiration takes place through the skin Mosquito - A small flying biting insect that could be described as a type of Fly. It lives worldwide, especially in the tropics. It has long legs and a slender abdomen, Culex Forma. In most species the males feed on plant juices or nectar. The females puncture the skin with a long proboscis, to suck the blood of mammals, quite often transmitting serious diseases, including Malaria, Dengue Fever, Encephalitis and Yellow Fever. The mosquito is not strictly a parasite.
THE LOUSE - also called the Body Louse -Pediculus Humanus, one of the most common sucking lice, found wherever human beings live. There are two sub-species of the common human louse: Pediculus Humanus Capitis, the Head Louse, and P. Humanus Humanus, the body louse, or cootie. The body louse is an important carrier of epidemic typhus; other louse-borne human diseases are trench fever and relapsing fever Fleas have been around for millions of years - a fossilized flea found in Australia is said to be 200 million years old. It does not differ significantly from today's fleas. Different species can be found from the Arctic Circle to the Arabian deserts - even penguins have fleas which counteract the cold by ensuring that their growth into adulthood coincides with the time when penguins are sitting firmly on their eggs, thereby keeping both fleas and their young in a warm environment!

MALARIA - A serious, acute and chronic relapsing infection in humans, characterized by periodic attacks of chills and fever, anemia, enlargement of the spleen - splenomegaly, and often fatal complications. Malaria also is found in apes, monkeys, rats, birds, and reptiles. It is caused by various species of protozoa, a one-celled organism - called Sporozoans, that belong to the genus Plasmodium. These parasites are transmitted to humans by the bite of various species of mosquitoes belonging to the genus Anopheles .

The June Bug - Cotinus Nitida - Linnaeus - Really a Flying Beetle - " I'm coming to get you!! " - Cotinus Nitida - The June Bug, also called May Beetle, or July Bug - Any insect of the genus Phyllophaga, belonging to the widely distributed, plant-feeding subfamily Melolonthinae - family Scarabaeidae, order Coleoptera. These red-brown / green or even orange beetles commonly appear in the Northern Hemisphere during warm spring evenings and are attracted to lights. The heavy-bodied June beetles vary from 12 to 25 mm - 0.5 to 1 inch, and have shiny wing covers (elytra). They feed on foliage and flowers at night, sometimes causing considerable damage. June beetle larvae, called white grubs, are about 25 mm long and live in the soil. They can destroy crops, like, corn [maize], small grains, potatoes, strawberries, and they can kill lawns and pastures by severing the grasses from the roots.
TICK - A widely distributed parasitic arachnid - related to Spiders and Scorpions, that sucks the blood of mammals, reptiles and birds, and may transmit such diseases as Typhus, Lymes Disease and Relapsing Fever. Its round body can be as small as a millimeter, or up to 30 mm long, with eight bristly legs. After feeding, the adults drop off the host and lay eggs on the ground. The larvae attach themselves to a suitable victim, feed, then drop off and molt into nymphs, which repeat the procedure. They have been compared to being similar to the Mite. An insect is a six legged creature, but all of this sized organisms once came from the same ancestor. Meningitis is an infection of the clear plasma-like fluid of a person's spinal cord and the same fluid that surrounds the brain. Meningitis is sometimes referred to as Spinal Meningitis. Meningitis is usually caused by a viral or bacterial infection; itis mean inflammation, so the infection causes an inflammation of these areas. MRSA - PLEASE NOTE THAT MRSA IS NOT A DISEASE. IT IS THE NAME OF A BACTERIA THAT WE NO LONGER HAVE AN ANTIBODY THAT CAN KILL IT. IF ALLOWED INTO THE BODY OF A MAMMAL, IT CAN BRING ON MANY PROBLEMS AND CONDITIONS. THESE CONDITIONS HAVE ALTERNATE NAMES AND SOMETIMES MRSA IS NOT EVEN MENTIONED. PREVIOUS TO THE MRSA STRAIN THESE CONDITIONS WERE CLEARED UP QUITE EASILY WITH PENICILLIN ETC. BUT NOT ANYMORE. READ ON! Asthma is not a new phenomenon, as its recent insurgence would suggest. - Asthma-like symptoms were first recorded around 3500 years ago in an Egyptian manuscript called the Ebers Papyrus. And a word with similar roots as Asthma was also seen in Homer's Iliad. The word comes from the Greek and means Labored Breathing. The word Asthma was first used to describe an illness 500 years later by the famous Greek physician, and father of Medicine, Hippocrates. The Romans also recorded this condition and used various remedies to try and cure it.
SMELLY FEET - Most of the body sweats to keep us cool, and help remove some waste products from the body. Every square cm of the sole of the foot and the palms of your hands have about over 500 sweat pores, totalling 250,000 little holes, that is more than other part of the body, even more that under the arm-pits. Allergy - An abnormal reaction by the body to certain substances, including pollen, dust, certain foods and drugs, fur, moulds, etc. Normally all foreign substances (antigens) entering the body are destroyed by antibodies. Allergic people, however, become hypersensitive to certain antigens (called allergens), so that whenever they are encountered in future they stimulate not only the normal antibody reaction but also the abnormal symptoms of the allergy, such as sneezing and skin rashes. Allergic conditions include hay fever, some forms of asthma and dermatitis, and urticaria. Treatment includes the use of antihistamines and corticosteroids and desensitization. CLONE - also spelled clon population of genetically identical cells or organisms that are derived originally from a single original cell or organism by asexual methods. Cloning is fundamental to most living things, since the body cells of plants and animals are clones ultimately derived from the mitosis of a single fertilized egg. More narrowly, a clone can be defined as an individual organism that was grown from a single body cell of its parent and that is genetically identical to it. STD's - These bacterial and viral infections are related to sex, but of course have historically been associated with oral-sex and the vagina. In most all cases though they can cause some form of bodily infection and are transmitted through some form of sex. HIV/ AIDS is also listed below. Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) can often be transmitted even though both partners firmly believe they are infection free. The incubation period of a disease, is the period of time between infection and the appearance of symptoms. So during the incubation period, partners can transfer a virus or bacteria without even knowing.
Hay fever An allergy to pollen, which leads to sneezing, a streaming nose, and inflamed eyes. Treatment involves taking antihistamines or, in severe cases, steroids. - ALLERGIES - hypersensitive reaction by the body to foreign substances - antigens, that in similar amounts and circumstances are harmless within the bodies of other people. Worms, some say, have been around in one form or shape for about 600 million years. We actually share some DNA with all worms. There are perhaps up to 35,000 different types of these legless invertebrates, that we call worms. Some scurry about on the surface of the land, some live just beneath, whilst others bury themselves deep into the Earth's surface. Many live in the sea, and some have been found deep down on the bottom. Some are so small you cannot see them with the naked-eye, others are so big, they could be snakes. An Earthworm can live for ten years, living and eating in our gardens. They have no eyes, or ears and never sleep. Pound for pound, as they are made of mostly muscle they can be 1,000 times stronger than the strongest man, so next time you call a person a worm, think. Clostridium Difficile, is now recognized as the chief cause of HAI - Diarrhea in the US and Europe, and not only in hospitals but also in nursing homes and other facilities for long term care. Initial recognition of this disease began in the 1970s, with reports of a serious, sometimes lethal colitis, characterized by the formation of pseudo-membranous plaques. The cause was identified as Clostridium Difficile in 1978.  STARVING WORLD OF FAMINE - But something can be done; something that would not only help millions of Africa's starving impoverished citizens; not only help facilitate a world financial resurgence but also create a new global environment that might save humanity. It would cost nothing.
The human papilloma virus - HPV, causes several different types of warts, which are the most common type of skin infection. In some cases, the HPV virus dies within 1 or 2 years, and warts simply disappear. Verrucas, also called Warts, well-defined small growth of varying shape on the skin surface, caused by a virus. The wart is composed of an abnormal proliferation of cells of the epidermis; the overproduction of these cells is caused by the viral infection. The most common type of wart is a round, raised lesion having a dry and rough surface; flat or threadlike lesions are also seen. Warts are usually painless, except for those in pressure areas, such as the plantar warts, or Verrucas, that occur on the sole of the foot. They may occur as isolated lesions or grow profusely, especially in moist regions of the body surface. TRAINING YOUR BIG DOG - How To Train Your Big Dog LISTEN TO VIRGIN RADIO UK - CLICK HERE Huntington's Disease is due to a dominant and faulty genetic disorder on chromosome 4.  The consequence of the fault with this gene starts around or just before middle age,  and leads to a gradual physical, mental and emotional change in its victim. Huntington's Disease was named after the American, Dr. George Huntington, as in 1872 he was the first person to document an accurate description of the symptoms and the route of the disease. - The loss of these cells causes intense symptoms and eventually death. As the condition advances, it becomes more difficult for the patient to walk and speak. Memory and intellectual functions continue to decline, until the end. By far of the majority of patients are placed in hospices for special care.
Acne can affect people from ages 9 through to middle-age. Acne can show up as any of the following; congested pores, whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, pustules, or cysts - deep pimples, spots. These blemishes occur wherever there are many oil or sebaceous glands, mainly on the face, chest, and back. Acne is commonly referred to in slang as zits. PILES - Hemroids and their symptoms are one of the most common afflictions in the Western world. In fact, hemroids can occur at any age and can affect both women and men. Because the presence of hemorrhoidal tissue is normal - it acts as a compressible lining which allows the anus to close completely. Unfortunately, hemroids tend to get worse over time, and disease should be treated as soon as it occurs. ANTS - any member of the approximately 8,000 species of the insect family Formicidae - order Hymenoptera. Ants occur worldwide but are especially common in hot climates. All ants are social in habit; i.e., they live together in organized colonies, and they range in size from 2 to about 25 millimeters, about 0.08 to 1 inch. Their color is usually yellow, brown, red, or black. A few genera, e.g., Pheidole of North America, have a metallic luster.
Gout is one of the most common forms of arthritis - an inflammation of a joint. Due to gravity, it usually affects the first meta-tarsophalangeal joint - your Big Toe. Intense pain can appear over night and you can have fully blown Gout, within 24 hours. Approximately 18% of people who develop gout, have some family history of this condition, and do have higher than average levels due to inherited from a parent. Gout is caused by excess Uric Acid accumulating in the body, normal a waste product that a younger person might dispel quickly. The Uric Acid settles in the joint and crystals are deposited and formed there. - foogle.biz - What, Who, Where, When, Why, Which, Will, How, Do - Gout - joint inflammation. Cholesterol is an integral part of all cell membranes and the starting point for steroid hormones, including the sex hormones. It is broken down by the liver into bile salts, which are involved in fat absorption in the digestive system, and it is an essential component of lipoproteins, which transport fats and fatty acids in the blood. Low-density lipoprotein cholesterol - LDL-cholesterol, when present in excess, can enter the tissues and become deposited on the surface of the arteries, causing atherosclerosis. - A White, crystalline sterol found throughout the body, especially in fats, blood, nerve tissue, and bile; it is also provided in the diet by foods such as eggs, meat, and butter. A high level of cholesterol in the blood is thought to contribute to atherosclerosis - hardening of the arteries. - foogle.biz - What, Who, Where, When, Why, Which, Will, How, Do IMMUNITY - The resistance of the body to infection, especially resistance due to antibodies. Babies have passive immunity from antibodies transferred from the mother’s blood through the placenta. Active immunity involves the formation of antibodies after exposure to an antigen - bacteria that invade the body during an infection are antigens. The two different kinds of immune response produced by antibodies involve: white blood cells called T-lymphocytes -produced by the thymus, which produce cells with antibody bound to their surface and are responsible for such reactions as graft rejection; B-lymphocytes, which produce cells that release free antibody into the blood. - Immune System - Immunization - Protective Skin - MRSA. Cooking Outside - The BBQ - Barbeque - Simple Barbecue Tips and Techniques to get a Great Barbecue Meal . Barbecue — noun. 1. A. Rabies A virus infection of the brain that can affect all warm-blooded animals and may be transmitted to man through the bite of an infected animal (usually a dog). Symptoms, which appear after a period of from ten days to two years, include painful spasms of the throat. Later, the sight of water can induce convulsions (hence the alternative name—hydrophobia, “fear of water”) and the patient eventually dies. Antirabies vaccine and antiserum given immediately after being bitten may prevent the infection from developing. The UK has strict quarantine regulations for imported domestic animals to prevent the disease from reaching Britain. COCKROACHES - Dictyoptera - An order of insects comprising the cockroaches - suborder Blattaria) and the mantids - suborder Mantodea, occurring mainly in tropical regions. Cockroaches are oval and flattened in shape; some have a single well-developed pair of wings, folded back over the abdomen at rest, while in others the wings may be reduced or absent. They are usually found in forest litter, feeding on dead organic matter, but some species, e.g. the American cockroach - Periplaneta Americana, are major household pests, scavenging on starchy foods, fruits, etc. In most species the females produce capsules - the (oothecae containing 16 - 40 eggs. These are either deposited or carried by the female during incubation. Elvis was born Jan. 8, 1935, in Tupelo, Miss., U.S. He died Aug. 16, 1977, in Memphis, Tenn. His name in full was Elvis Aaron Presley or more correctly, Elvis Aron Presley, the popular singer widely known as the King of Rock and Roll. He was one of rock music's most dominant performers from the mid-1950s until the present day and forever.
