This page is somewhat about the phenomenon that was The Tourist Guy. About a man who played a sick joke on his friends about being at the WTC at the time of the plane crash, and having his photo taken just seconds, before. In reality the picture was taken on the 28th November 1997; he was nowhere near New York let alone the WTC on 9/11. We have taken this image and considered that it might be real just for a second. And then recounted the ramifications of the seconds of time, just before the first plane crashed into the WTC. - World Trade Center - World Trade Center Pictures and Facts - WTC Facts - A complex of several buildings around a central plaza in New York City that in 2001 was the site of the deadliest terrorist attack in American history. The complex—located at the southwestern tip of Manhattan, near the shore of the Hudson River and a few blocks northwest of Wall Street—was built by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey as a central facility for businesses and government agencies involved in international trade. Until the 2001 attack, it was notable for its huge twin towers, each of which had 110 stories. The roof of One World Trade Center reached to 1,368 feet (417 meters), and Two World Trade Center was 1,362 feet (415 meters) tall. Designed by Minoru Yamasaki and officially opened in 1972, the towers were the world's tallest buildings until surpassed in 1973 by the Sears Tower in Chicago. (See Researcher's Note: Heights of Buildings.) Each of the twin towers had 97 passenger elevators, 21,800 windows, and roughly an acre (0.4 hectare) of rentable space per floor. An observation deck was situated on the 107th floor of the south tower (Two World Trade Center), and a television-broadcasting mast 360 feet (110 meters) high was attached to the north tower (One World Trade Center).Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??Tourist Guy - WTC - Will this time-line change the world forever ??

WTC Mid-Town View - This is the view that the Tourist Guy saw as he looked over the railings of the WTC observations point. This is the scene that is pictured behind him. It is no longer there; the towers no longer exist. We do not think that the 'joke' was by 'him', but by the power of the Internet. If you know who the first person was to send out the Tourist Guy Picture, let us know.

An observation deck was situated on the 107th floor of the south tower (Two World Trade Center), and a television-broadcasting mast 360 feet (110 meters) high was attached to the north tower (One World Trade Center).

Other Spoof pictures of  the Tourist Guy

We have represented it here because it is initially a blood chilling image. It is NOT anything to do with the WTC Atrocity though, but for just a moment the viewer is taken into a small chink in time; spoof or not, in the mind of the observer a small fraction of time is frozen for eternity.

But the image is a hoax, one constructed maybe for a joke, and very amusing it is too, for some. Funny or not, that is up to the onlooker, and how personally they were involved in the 9 / 11 incident will determine how they will react.

But anyone unconnected who knew it was a hoax might see it as a piece of Art. One fit for the Tate Modern in London, because it says so much, so much about the culture that the author lives in, so much about the society that the image reflects, so much about how far Humankind has gone, but on the other hand how little they know. It tells the viewer that if it is a wicked hoax, what does it say about the society that the author lives in, where he or she can create a spoof image about one of the most horrific incidents in American history, without fear of repudiation. Notwithstanding the spin-off spoof creations subsequently produced for some ongoing amusement.

Let us imagine further, that aliens, in one million years time, are studying it, what could they interpret from what they could see. Moreover, what would they  see at first inspection, and then with some further investigation what would they  see about the truth. Would they wonder why anyone would wish to hoax a picture of an airplane hitting the building where the subject and the photographer are standing?  Would they know about 9 / 11? What would they determine that Earth 2001 was like, and how would they classify Earth's citizens?

Let us imagine again, that if it were true, and that it was one of those 9-11 airplanes speeding to destruction on that fateful day. And José was just some innocuous tourist guy having his picture taken quite innocently, oblivious of what destruction lied ahead of him, and a Nation, and a World.

At this point in time, all is relatively well for the Human race. He is just another tourist guy, one of the many millions who before him, visited the WTC, and he is probably thinking what a lovely day it is, and how fortunate he is to be a Brazilian, and visiting one of the greatest landmarks in one of the greatest cities on Earth.

The thriving WTC is going about its business as usual and many thousands of people all around the USA, the UK, Europe and the Middle East are quietly living their lives down one particular time-line.

Living a projected pathway in their lives that if we could see it in the future,  would be a prediction of many people living out their lives to the full, retiring, having grandchildren and going on the proverbial World Cruises before they died of a ripe old age. Or maybe dying of cancer, alternatively,   being hit by a bus on Wednesday 12th September 2001. How many saw this as an opportunity to change their own time-line and escape their lives by pretending that they had been killed.  Or of course it would have been for others, a possible life of Third World poverty in a country lost in the past ravages of past wars, but also of course a picture of many forward years to come; of seeing grandchildren and enjoying their lives to the fullest that they could achieve. Giving love and laughing, thanking God for giving them life no matter what it was.

Many thousands of people around the world looking forward into their future at that point in time, not knowing that in only one second, in only one breath all that what was promised for them in their future life was gone. And not just for those who died during that fateful second in time but for the hundreds killed in the aftermath. Not only the EMS personnel and the victims of the subsequent bombing sorties but also the many thousands personally touched by this event who found themselves killed emotionally inside.

One action can result in an infinite number of reactions.

Their lives, all their lives changed forever, all possible future occurrences altered, changing the future in a million ways.  Mothers who lost sons and fathers who lost daughters. Spouse losing spouse, changing the future for everyone on the planet. Some at horrendous levels and others at the edge of the ripple, only faintly.

So what does this image say to you?

Can your imaginations hear a world living, can you imagine this second in time depicted above? Look deeply at the picture and imagine all the lives lost and changed; all the stirred emotions?

Can you imagine all those long past atrocities that changed time-lines for the planet? Pearl Harbor; the Invasion of Poland; the British Empire campaign; the Black Death; the Roman Empire campaign. Many more, right back to the time when that huge block of rock pounded into the planet Earth and changed the time-line for those terrible lizards once and for all.

Whatever you see, will this be the last atrocity to end all atrocities? Will this be the last time-line of such significance to change so much?

As the memory of Tuesday 11th September 2001 fades like a pebble being thrown down the well of time, will this be the date Humankind woke up, or not?

  Doubt it!

It has now been revealed that the Tourist Guy is actually a Mr. Peter Guzli.    Mr. Guzli lives in Budapest, Hungary, and is still trying to cope with his unexpected fame. He says quite adamantly that he meant no harm in what he did, even though it was ultimately in very bad taste, it was just a joke for his own circle of friends. He is amazed at his notoriety and never thought that he would become this Internet freak.  But as we all know, such is the power of the Internet that sometimes it can just get out there. We wish him well.

However, if you have read this article it does not matter who the Tourist Guy is, and whether there is a truth about it or not. It is just a symbol of what could be, and what what was.

WORLD TRADE CENTER - September 11th

World Trade Center

World Trade Center

ONE ACRE of Rainforest around the World is being destroyed every second of every day !

Are You a Taker ? ARE YOU AN ENVIRONMENTAL TAKER? - Take the Test !

Take the Test to see if you are an Environmental Taker !

This is how the TAKERS treat our planet. One dumped car is nothing.  In the scheme of things it does not matter, but if all the millions of cars that are scrapped each year ended up like this where would we be? The irony is that this vehicle is so old it is probably worth ten times more than when it was abandoned.

WORLD TRADE CENTER - September 11th

Take the Taker's Test !

The Sahara Supposition

This site is about a PROPOSAL to try and Terraform  the  Sahara Desert;  to reclaim  it  for  the benefit of  Humanity.

Desertification of the world spreads every day.

This supposition will attempt to redress the balance.

The futility of waste. Deserts are basically wastelands; most were once green and  flourishing rainforests.    All deserts grow a bit more each year. In theory, they may one day take over the whole planet, that is if other catastrophes do not beat them to it.

TheSahara.Net is a  PROPOSAL to  try and Terraform  the  Sahara Desert;   to  reclaim  it  for  the benefit of  the  Planet. To produce a new Rainforest and Ocean.

Desertification of the world spreads every day.    This will attempt to redress the balance, by replacing lost natural habitats.

FIVE ACRES OF RAINFOREST GONE AT EVERY SWEEP

Sahara desert Facts - The Sahara Desert is a great desert area, North Africa, the West portion of the broad belt of parched land that extends from the Atlantic Ocean eastward past the Red Sea to Iraq. The entire desert, the largest in the world, is about 1600 km wide and about 5000 km long from East to West.

Losing Rainforest

Desertification of the World spreads every day.

The Earth's largest satellite, the Moon. The way the  environment is continually ravaged maybe in one thousand years time Earth will become more like the Moon.

WORLD TRADE CENTER - September 11th

Imagine if it stopped!

WORLD TRADE CENTER - September 11th

Let us imagine, that say in one million years time, and if desertification continues on its same path. Will most of the planet Earth look like this? And that there is scarcely, any actual evidence that the primitive human animal had ever existed.

Without Photosynthesis we would not have oxygen to breathe OR proteins to eat. In sunlight green plants use this energy to produce oxygen and proteins through Photosynthesis.

It is said that a football pitch size, of healthy life-giving green is being destroyed every second and that during any year, a Rain Forest the size of Great Britain itself, is laid waste. This is mainly due to logging.

Great Britain presently releases up to 300 million tons of raw sewage into the seas around its coast each year. This Sahara strategy could be negotiated as an initially free service to encourage the halting of pollution to the Mediterranean Sea, local water tables and the Atlantic and Indian Oceans et al. However, an eventual charge for this disposal could go some way in paying for this facility in the long term.

Almost 90% of the world’s fresh reservoirs are essentially locked away in the ice caps and there they must stay.

New York uses one and a half billion gallons of fresh clean water every single day, and this consumption rises every single day. The United Nations proclaims that by 2025 over 5 billion people will face fresh clean water problems and shortages. This compounds all the other ills that go with the intake of tainted drinking water. Nevertheless, you might say that 25 years is a long way away, so why worry.
